On Saturday, David North presented the German edition of his book Leon Trotsky and the Struggle for Socialism in the Twenty-First Century at the Leipzig Book Fair.

With more than 150 participants, the non-fiction forum in Hall 5 had standing room only. Many took the opportunity to ask questions of the chairman of the International Editorial Board of the World Socialist Web Site and the national chairman of the Socialist Equality Party (United States).

Johannes Stern, editor of the German-language edition of the WSWS and representative of Mehring Verlag, moderated the event, which was held in German. (The video includes English subtitles.) Afterwards, Stern interviewed North in English and discussed with him the growing opposition to war in Germany.
